Interview with Yuji Naka: the creator of Sonic the Hedgehog
I found this interview with Yuji Naka in Sega Visions Issue 9. Sonic 2 hadn't come out yet, and this guy was at the height of his powers.

Man, this is great. I especially love how they knew so little on the game at the time that they keep calling Emerald Hill Zone 'the New Green Hill Zone' :P
I like how they market the Game Gear version as the same thing...
Sure tricked me as a kid; I was very disappointed when "Sonic 2" was just some Sonic game. First boss is practically impossible. What a shit game, the baseball game I had was way better. Mortal Kombat 2 has an awesome conversion onto the Game Gear as well.
