I've been playing through Zelda II, and my girlfriend and I were confused my a little area south of Spectacle Rock that seemed to serve no purpose.
Well, I stumbled across the answer today...
It's nice to find Easter Eggs 20 years later :)

Dear god that's awesome. I really surprised I never noticed any of those (except the mushroom).
The Pipe world pipes are really awesome.
wow. this is better than Christmas!
Make Skeletronic faster!
Good find too. I remembered that part as being sort of pointless in Z2 and since I already was pretty awful with the game I didn't muck around too much in the cemetaries. I hate those ghost things especially. Well, not as much as those other INVISIBLE ghost things in the game later.
I don't get it.
I bet those eggs are already rotten, so I would not like to find them.
Anyway, I think that old time of 8-bits was such a great time which will be remembered forever.
I just wanted to say kudos -- I absolutely love that hidden elements of the NES are still being discovered decades later. Love love love it.
Please one more post about that.I wonder how you got so good. This is really a fascinating blog, lots of stuff that I can get into. One thing I just want to say is that your Blog is so perfect
I had received this. Best gift everrr!
Wow! Unbelievable! That's . . . How in the world did you notice that?
