Dwarf Fortress "There Will Be Ghosts" Episodes 3 - 5

Not going down without a fight. The conclusion to my first Dwarf Fortress video. This was a great fortress with lots of steel, it's too bad I didn't master the art of gearing out 2 squads of Dwarfs earlier. I had the metal.

It was fun making these videos, and I hope to make more Dwarf Fortress episodes very soon.My mic is driving my crazy, I need to get a new one ASAP. At least I can turn it off when I'm not talking. I try not to talk to much.

Dwarf Fortress "There Will Be Ghosts" Episode 1

"There Will Be Ghosts" is a 5-part Dwarf Fortress mini-series. Witness the rise and fall of an epic Dwarven Kingdom.

As the title promises, there is at least one ghost in fortress.

Let's Play FTL Vanilla

Parts 3-9 of my ongoing FTL Let's Play. These 9 parts are all I'm going to do of Vanilla.

The new expansion comes out Thursday, and I'll be doing a twitch broadcast tomorrow of my first impressions. I'll also record it for youtube if you miss the broadcast.

I'll post when it starts tomorrow, but that will depend on how early we can download the patch.

Until then, why not waste some time?

Let's Play ToME - Part 2

This is the second video in my ToME Let's Play. In this episode, we will explore more of the ruins of Kor'pal. It is a dangerous place indeed.

This roguelike is shaping up to be an epic adventure. Picture sort of related. Not related.

Let's Play ToME

ToME is, so far, an amazing roguelike. I've never played it before, but you can watch me give it a try in my new Let's Play. So let's check it out!

You can also download ToME 4 at te4.org. Get the game now, it's free.

On a more general note, I'm really liking the latest generation of roguelike games. Features like auto-explore make tile-based gameplay so much smoother, and other games like Don't Starve prove that you can make a good roguelike without tiles.
